Rental rates are recovering from their lows during 2002-2009, the “$0 down, everybody qualifies for a home loan” period. So we see a return to normal. A 3 bedroom – 2 bath home actually leased for as much in 2000 as 2010. Probably this spring and summer it will be increasingly difficult to find a decent home in a decent location leasing for below $1300 per month.
